heritage
Exploring the artefacts stored in Archivio Negroni means taking a small trip in the history of western decorative iconography of the last centuries. A number of models that follow the canons of classical English silverware are on display, such as the Regina Anna or the San Marco styles. There are many hidden gems, like the North-African artisanal bracelet from 1960s Libya, whose motif travelled around the world and was used to reproduce artistic iconography decorations of European origins and of ethnic traditions that are still an inspiration for Arabic, African and South American artistic crafts. The archive does not lack in references to 1900s Italian history, we can see that in the metal plaques that were created for Italian automotive brands such as Iveco, or in memorial medals created for many sports federations.
